In this tutorial, we’ll be going through the process of using a task that you or your colleagues have created within this template.

Select A Task

From the Blueprint, Build, Benchmark page, select the task you want to carry out. In this case, we’ll be using the Sample Task: Draft An Email task.

Click on the task to open it. Ensure the task is in a working state, to avoid wasting time using a task which is broken:

Review Blueprint

Next, review the task blueprint. This will tell you what information, files and context you will need to collect in order to use the task, as well as what output to expect from the task.

Build Your Prompt

The next step is to review the build section of the task. This will contain one or more steps you need to follow to achieve the outcome of the task.

You’ll want to review the Tool and Model used for the task.

In this case, we’re advised to use Copilot, so that’s where we’ll be sending our prompt. If you’re using a tool which allows for variable tweaking (such as OpenAI Playground), you’ll also want to check the Temperature and Max Length properties, as well as any other custom properties, to ensure you setup your environment to be the same as the one the task creator used.

Next, you’ll see a system prompt.
