Conceptualise
Before writing a prompt, we need to go through a conceptualisation stage. This is where we figure out what we want our final result to be.

- What do you want the model to do? Do you need it to give you information? Summarise or
re-word existing content? Generate a plan? Analyse data and make predictions?
- The first few words of your prompt will be generated based on the output of this plan.
- This is the most important step in properly planning your prompt and should be your first task.

- What information does the AI need to complete the task?
- Is it publicly available, or will you need to upload documents / specify via prompt?

- Who will be consuming the text / image / other output of the AI?
- How does the intended audience impact tone, format and language level?

- What is the scope of your prompt? Identify limits for your scenario.
- Acknowledge the limitations of AI and plan to make up for them.

- Plan how you will be keeping track of the conversation with the model.
- Remember that starting a new conversation thread resets any previous chats.
